My path here wasn't planned so much as it followed the infrastructure. I started at Dell in 2000 doing server support, then moved into server and network administration — first physical hardware, then virtualized environments. As Agile took hold across the industry, I found myself pulled into project and program management, translating between engineering teams and the business goals driving their work. And as cloud infrastructure became the center of gravity, that experience folded back into architecture — not away from the technical work, but deeper into it.
Looking back, the throughline is simple: I've always worked at the layer where code, business, and infrastructure meet.
I'm a native Austinite — born and raised, and still here. I live with my wife, our two boys, and Bruno, a very opinionated Cardigan Welsh Corgi.
Live music
I love Electronic music and ACL Fest is a yearly fixture.
Formula 1
I follow the sport closely; tire strategy is where its at.
Home design
Renovated our bathrooms a couple of years back. I have a strong eye for pattern, color, and pulling a room together — mid-century modern above all.
